With website hosting fees so low these days, why spend time looking for free website hosting? Some hosts charge only $3.99 per month, with no minimum or advance payment, for a single domain.
For as little as $5.95 per month, you can even find unlimited website hosting, including all the “extras” – blog installation, unlimited MySQL and email accounts, Joomla, shopping cart, and much more. Usually these low fees mean you need to pay for a year in advance, but it can be worth it not to worry about details and monthly payments once your sites are set up.
Many hosts will also provide domain registration services, sometimes at a discount, but often with free add-ons like private registration if you go through their service. With so many features, be sure you’re doing an apples to apples comparison before you sign up.
As for the free website hosting services, they usually do not offer unlimited websites hosting, or use of your own domain (for free that is – you can usually do it if you pay extra), nor will you find the type of blog, MySQL, or other features that are so easily found at nearly every other host. Why get a site started only to find out later you can’t build it to your specifications due to these limitations? For just $5 to $10 a month, get everything you need when you need it!
